Our remodeling process is designed around communication, planning, and transparency from consultation through construction.

Initial Inquiry & Consult

Submit an online consultation request, call, or email us to set up an appointment for a free online consult with Emma and Abby. We will meet you for an initial meet-and-greet to discuss your project needs, challenges in your space, budgetary constraints, and a tentative timeline.

Following the appointment, we’ll follow up with a proposal for the scope of work and rough budget based on the information provided and gathered.

Design and Pre-Construction

For larger projects, we begin with a Design Service Agreement. This phase allows us to develop architectural plans, refine the scope, and provide evolving cost guidance. We include placeholder budgets, called Allowances, for selections—so you have a clear understanding of overall investment as decisions take shape.

Project Commitment

With plans and details in place, we present a fixed-price contract outlining scope, tentative schedule, and specifications. Allowances for design choices and certain trades are clearly defined and itemized. Adjustments are transparently tracked and shared with you as final bids are received and selections are made in real time through individual change orders. We aim to guide your decision making process so you always understand how selections impact your investment.

Design & Selection

We guide you through selections with intention—helping you choose finishes that reflect your style, support how you live, and are consistent with your budget. Whether working directly with our team or alongside a designer, this is a collaborative and well-supported process. As selections are finalized, allowance values are reconciled as itemized credits or overages. We pride ourselves on transparency.

Construction

As your project approaches, we prepare you for each step ahead. During construction, our team manages the process with precision, communicates consistently, and maintains a clean, respectful jobsite. Progress, schedule, and change orders are documented and shared in real time via our project management software JobTread. Our goal is to minimize uncertainty through ample communication.
